Abstract
This study was attempted investigate the discriminant validity of HIRIGADUST and provide the sensitivity, specificity
and efficiency according to cutting scores, which may be useful to determine the optimal cutoff point on various purposes.
HIRIGADUST was administered to 381 non-drug use male third grade middle school students and 53 drug-use male and
female adolescent. The results were as follows£º1) The score of each four subscales of HIRIGADUST except ¡®concerns about parents¡¯ drinking¡¯ were significantly higher in the drug-use group than in non-drug use group. 2) Using T 65 as the cutoff point specificity was higher than sensitivity. Above results suggest that the score of T 65 may be useful as the optimal cutoff point in clinical setting or research purpose. We provide the sensitivity, specificity and efficiency table according to cutting scores, which may be useful to determine the optimal cutoff point on various purposes.
